Robins Nest

Two-bedroom, new build bungalow in Broad Oak, near Heathfield.

The Brief

To build a two-bedroom, new build bungalow in an infill plot in Broad Oak, near Heathfield.

What We Did

The site was cleared, foundations poured, and the substructure brought up ready for a timber frame, which forms the bungalow's structure. Once weathertight the inside followed the usual order: services, plasterboard and plaster, then a navy shaker kitchen, finished bedrooms and flooring. Outside, a paved patio, boundary fencing and a resin bound driveway completed the plot.

Features

Timber frame construction
Navy shaker kitchen
Glazed sliding doors from the living space to the garden
En suite shower room to the main bedroom
Resin bound driveway
Paved patio and boundary fencing
